The Dust Devil

This is a small single 12" combo with an incredible sounding 12 watts of pure class A, single-ended, cathode-biased EL34 tube power.

This little guy may be small, and easy to carry, but don't let its diminutive size fool you. This hot- rod will rock the house without breaking a sweat.

The control layout is simple:
Two inputs "Hot", and "Cool" to tailor the amp to your guitars pickups.

Volume Knob with a "Pull Boost" feature that gives you an unlimited array of gain settings from bright spanky Tele-twang tone, to creamy, effortless super sustaining high gain rock tones.

An extremely effective "Tone Knob" That will let you dial in YOUR tone from thick, and swampy to bright, and articulate, and anywhere in between.

VARI-WATT!!

This amp's ON/OFF knob also doubles as the Vari-Watt control. This is no simple master-volume. This is Power-Scaling at its best! Crank the Vari-Watt control all the way up, and you get the full 12 watts from the power section. Turn the Vari-Watt all the way down, and you will decrease the power output of the EL34 power tube to approximately 1/10th of a watt!!!! And of course you can set it anywhere in between - dial in the tone and volume you need.

The Vari-Watt circuit actually changes the voltage going to the plate of the power tube. So when you turn the Vari-Watt down, even though the tube isn't putting out it's full power, the tube still reacts like it's running at full-blast. The advantage to this design over standard master volumes is that you can get power tube saturation at extremely low volumes.

As a matter of fact, the further you turn the Vari-Watt control down, the EASIER it is to get power tube saturation, and distortion.

This feature makes the Dust Devil truly capable of getting those wonderfull cranked up tones, compression, and saturation at REAL BEDROOM VOLUME LEVELS.

This very well may be the perfect all around amp. AMAZING tones for recording - plenty of power for smaller gigs - and at home the Vari-Watt control will let you play to the wee hours of the morning without disturbing anyone else in the house!
