Twister F1 Combo

This is the amp that started it all.

Twister Amps has taken this venerable design, and built it with old school craftsmanship, keeping all the vintage magic, while beefing up the power supply to keep the amp's low frequencies tight, and remove the flubbiness that could creep into the tone when using modern high output guitar pickups.

The Twister F1 has the same two channel, four input layout as the original. It boasts 40 watts of pure vintage tone from it's pair of 6L6 tubes.

Big, round bell-like tones are this amps forte!

The final ingredient in the mix of this classic sound is four 10" speakers, with your choice of Eminence Ragin Cajun ceramics for a louder, tighter, more agressive tone, or Weber Signature AnNiCo's for a warmer, smoother vintage vibe

The F1 is the perfect platform for nearly any type of music. From Blues, and Country to Psychobilly, and straight up Rock N Roll, this amp can pull it all off, and help you sound better than you ever thought you could.

Adding to it's versatility, it works extremely well with any kind of stompbox you may want to use.
Our personal favorite combination is the Electro Harmonix Pulsar tremolo pedal, followed by the Electro Harmonix Holy Grail reverb. It's true Rockabilly heaven! Add a Tube Screamer, or a Fulltone OCD overdrive pedal into the mix, and the F1 will rock hard, and keep that smooth, liquid tone that makes you want to play for hours and hours.

We don't want to toot our own horn too much, but we believe that this is the sweetest sounding vintage style amp you can buy at any price.

As with all Twister amps, the F1 comes standard in our signature blue tolex, and you can also special order it in any color you like, including real vintage style cloth tweed covering at no extra charge.
